CHANGE OF ADDRESS

You will not find me on  Cambridge street

Today my move has been complete.

Yes, I had a change of address today.

I now live beyond the milky-way.

I may have moved, but I'm still near

In the things that I hold dear.

In the face of a foster child

You will see me when they smile.

Hats for kiddies and pillows too,

Blankies with notes that say, "i love you"

Please don't let my leaving get you down

I have exchanged my cross for a brand new crown.

Today. I thought in all my readings, there is nothing new to inspire me

to write a poem,  so that is what this poem is about! 

WHEN NOTHING INSPIRES YOU

When nothing inspires you

Look to your God

And remember the blessings

On the path that you trod.

When nothing Inspires you

Listen to a bird's sweet song

It will help you to know

That you too belong.

When nothing inspires you

See the stars shine at night

Know that God has a plan

And your future is bright.

When nothing inspires you

To the cross, turn once again

Come to know Jesus' Victory

Over satan and sin!

Fix your eyes upon Jesus

Make Him your life's goal.

Fix your eyes upon Jesus

You will have blessings untold.

Fix your eyes upon Jesus

The world will soon fade away.

Fix your eyes upon Jesus

He will guide you today.

Fix your eyes upon Jesus

Through storms of life, you see.

Fix your eyes upon Jesus

For He died on the cross for thee.

Fix your eyes upon Jesus

And what He wants you to be

Fix your eyes upon Jesus

For He has won the victory!

For He has promised

When you forgive others.

When you love sisters and brothers.

When you don't feel repayment is due.

When you suffer a loss,

God's mercy at work

When you look at the cross.

When you let God judge, you see,
