Last night I watched the Oscars, along with millions of other
people. It was fun to watch the expressions on the faces of the
winners, they ranged from delight to shock. I suppose there
were many deserving to win, but there was only one winner
for each category; it's not so with a Christian's reward. We can
all be winners, with rewards lasting longer than an Oscar.
A CHRISTIAN'S REWARD
A Christian's reward is now,
You do not have to wait
Until some far off date,
When you reach heaven's gate.
The peace you find in Jesus
Is your reward today.
Eternal life is now...
Not some future way.
A Christian's reward...
Is fellowship with others,
The blessings of a Christian family
Christian sisters and Christian brothers.
A Christian's reward...
Is forgiveness and love
And knowing that you have a Father,
That will guide you to your home above.
