The gift of giving
Does not have to be monetary,
Sometimes just a smile
Is all that's necessary.
The gift of giving,
Walk that extra mile...
Give a friend an attentive ear
And listen for awhile.
The gift of giving,
Remembering someone alone,
Taking the time...
To call them on the phone.
The gift of giving,
A hug to one in sorrow,
Will give them a boost,
For a brighter tomorrow!
