I put upon my soul.
A coat of fresh paint...
Bowing in prayer, so bold.

A coat of fresh paint...
Hides a lot of grime.
A coat of fresh paint...
Forgiveness is mine.

A coat of fresh paint...
God gives me each day.
A coat of fresh paint...
Is grace, for this house of clay!
