This is me and I was a fiery little thing. If someone hit me
I hit them back... turning the other cheek didn't make much
sense to me!
HOW MANY TIMES?
How many times,
Do you forgive? He asked.
Is it seven times,
Will that be my task?
The answer came
From Jesus that day,
Seventy times seven
And more on the way.
How many times,
Do you turn the other cheek
And let the other person know
That his forgiveness is complete?
How many times,
Do you walk the extra mile?
As many times as asked,
With a cherry smile.
How many times,
Does God forgive you and me?
As many times...
As we ask, you see!
