A PROMISE FROM GOD
As long as the earth endures ,
Even through sands of time,
No more earth, destroying floods;
A promise to all mankind.
Seed time and harvest
Will march to nature's tune.
Day will follow night
Springtime winter's gloom.
The most visible promise
Is the rainbow that will appear,
After a storm has past,
It tells us God is near.
And it gives us hope for each day
As we endure pain and sorrow;
And we know that God will be there
When we reach tomorrow!
