EXPECT ADVERSITY

Expect adversity
It is part of life
No one is exempt
From trouble and strife.

Expect adversity
And be ready, you see
Lay your burden at the cross
I'm waiting for thee.

Expect adversity
For that's where you grow
I shall be with you
Wherever you go.

Expect adversity
There, you encounter My glory
As you rest in My shadow
You tell the world My story.
