THE PURPOSE FOR BROKENNESS
The purpose for brokenness
In thought or deed
Is God getting your attention
To point out your need.
The purpose for brokenness
Is for your dependance on God
You need Him, you see
In every step that you trod
The purpose for brokenness
Is to mold you, the clay
To make you more like Jesus
Today than yesterday.
The purpose for brokenness
When you fall apart
Give God the pieces
And He'll mend your heart!
