Freda's Garden:

Welcome to my Garden.
Today's poem was taken from today's "Every Day In His Presence"

WE SERVE A MERCIFUL FATHER

We serve a merciful Father
He forgives all our sin.
We serve a merciful Father
He lets us begin again.

We serve a merciful Father
We do not earn His grace.
We serve a merciful Father
When we call, He comes with haste.

We serve a merciful Father
Who is patient with you and with me.
We serve a merciful Father
He expects to be patient with others, you see.

We serve a merciful Father
Who wants to give us peace.
We serve a merciful Father
He will our fears release!

Freda's Garden:

Welcome to my Garden.
Today's poem was taken from today's "Every Day In His Presence."

UNJUST SITUATIONS

Unjust situations
Happens every day
In a world of sin
Innocent often pay.

Unjust situations
Make us angry, it's true
We want to right the wrong
But often don't know what to do.

Unjust situations
Have always been around
Men were born of trouble
and humans let you down.

Unjust situations
There are thugs we can do
We can vote for better laws
And we can pray too.

Unjust situations
God will right all wrongs, you see
We need to keep believing
That what He wants from you and me!

Freda's Garden:

Welcome to my Garden.
Today's poem was taken from today's "Jesus Calling"

EVERY TIME

Every time...
you feel alone, you see
Just fold your hands
And talk to me.

Every time...
Disappointments come your way
Read My Word
And see what I have to say.

Every time...
Someone says hurtful things too
Smile and be extra kind
That is the best thing you  can do.

Every time...
Life seems some dead-end
Remember I AM hope
And you can begin again!

Freda's Garden:

Welcome to my Garden.
Today's poem was taken from today's "Every Day In His Presence"

"I know the plans I have for you...plans to give you hope and a future"
Jeremiah 29:11

GOD HAS A PALN FOR YOU

God has a plan for you
Not just in heaven, but here on earth.
He wants you to be happy
And to to know your self-worth.

God has a plan for you
From the moment you were conceived
He loved and cared for you
This you must believe.

God has a plan for you
Your future is secure, you see
He knows every detail of your life
And wants what is best for thee.

God has a plan for you
That's what He called Jesus home
To prepare a place for you
Where you will never feel alone!

Freda's Garden.

Welcome to my Garden.
Today's poem was taken from today's "Jesus Calling."

GROW STRONG

Grow strong
As my Word you read.
Grow strong
By helping those in need.

Grow strong
In my power and might.
Grow strong
As you walk in my light.

Grow strong
By yielding your heart to me.
Grow strong
As I walk with thee.

Grow strong
Come to Me in prayer
Grow strong
I will always meet you there.

Freda's Garden:

Welcome to my Garden.
Today's poem was taken from today'a "Every Day In His Presence."

EXAMINE YOUR HEART

Examine your heart
For heart trouble you see
It will damage happiness
For you and for me.

Examine your heart
For resentment and blame
Get rid of all bitterness
Your tongue learn to tame.

Examine your heart
When it's difficult to trust again
Remember that you
May harbor the same sin.

Examine your heart
Be forgiving you see
It will revive your soul
And set your spirit free!

DO NOT BE DISCOURAGED

Do not be discouraged
when your mountain is so steep
And when you think I'm silent
Know I never sleep.

Do not be discouraged
By the difficulties of this life
I see all your troubles
I know your every strife.

Do not be discouraged
When a cross you must bear
I am walking with you
I will lift your load of care.

Do not be discouraged
By what others do or say
Just keep Me as your focus
I'm with you every day!
