When leaves are turning everywhere.

When the geese fly away,

When the frost is on the hay.

Farewell to summer,
When the pumpkins grow big and round.
Farewell to summer,
When trick or treaters come to town.

Farewell to summer,
When apples turn rosy, red.
Farewell to summer,
When you add an extra blanket to the bed.
