The gift of forgiveness
Is a wonderful gift, you see.
God gave this gift
And it is free to you and to me.
The gift of forgiveness
Will put your heart at rest,
Know the blood of Jesus covers you,
Even when you're put to the test.
The gift of forgiveness
Will give you such peace;
Your fears of tomorrow
Then surely shall cease.
But you must remember,
Forgiveness is a two way street;
You must forgive others,
To make this gift complete!
