Today's poem was taken from today's "Jesus Calling."
"Lord if it's you," Peter replied, "Tell me to come to you
on the water." "Come," He said.
Peter got down out of the boat, and walked on the water and
came toward Jesus, but when he saw the wind, he was afraid,
and beginning to sink, cried "Lord save me!"
Matthew 14:28-30
Peter took his eyes off Jesus!
TURN YOUR EYES TOWARD ME
Turn your eyes toward Me
My love you will see.
Turn your eyes toward Me
I'll always be with thee.
Turn your eyes toward Me
Experience my grace.
Turn your eyes towed Me
So I can put a smile on your face.
Turn your eyes toward Me
My mercy is waiting for you.
Turn your eyes toward Me
In all that you do.
Turn your eyes toward Me
I offer you forgiveness, you see.
Turn your eyes toward Me
And know joy eternally
