Today's poem was taken from today's "Jesus Calling."
DON'T LET OTHERS DEFINE WHO YOU ARE
Don't let others define who you are
You are a my child, you see
And no one else can know you
As I know you so intimately.
Don't let others define who you are
Others can't see the real you,
They see only the outside
It is your soul that I view.
Don't let others define who you are
Those that are critical and unkind
You are valuable to Me
So please keep that in mind.
Don't let others define who you are
Don't let flattery take you from Me
For it is only through My Spirit
That you can be all you need be!
