THE VALLEY OF DEFEAT
The valley of defeat
Comes to each of us one day.
We find a detour in life's road
And feel we've lost our way.
The valley of defeat
Perhaps we pursue the wrong thing?
God may want us on a different path
So blessings He may bring.
The valley of defeat
Circumstances are out of our control.
Stop, bow your head and pray
God's hand is there to hold.
The valley of defeat
Is not final, by the way.
God gives us a second chance
Ir's called a "new day!"
