THE FUTILITY OF REGRET
The futility of regret
Is wasted energy
You cannot change the past
Don't make today your enemy.
The futility of regret
In the choices made
Only gives you heartache
And makes you afraid.
The futility of regret
You cannot run from the past
God has forgiven you,
So face the truth at last.
The futility of regret
God does not want it this way
He wants you to forgive yourself
And live just for today!
