AN ANCIENT PROMISE

An ancient promise
Is the rainbow, you see
An ancient promise
To you and to me.

An ancient promise
Of a Messiah to come
An ancient promise
Jesus Christ is the One.

An ancient promise
God with us, you see
An ancient promise
To set us free.

An ancient promise
The one that is best
An ancient  promise
Of eternal rest!
