This is one of our Thursday pot-lucks in the past and this
is a picture of the birthday people. Glenda Tillotson is on
the left, of me then Vicki Bearden and Ester Luny. Dan and Glenda
have moved to Ojai, CA and David and Vicki have moved to
St. Louis, MO. Ester has gone home to be with the Lord.
Glenda has recently had surgery for breast cancer. Last Friday
she was told that there was no cure for the kind of cancer she
has. Aggressive treatment would only slow it down. Glenda has
made the courageous decision not to have any more treatment.
Please keep Glenda and her family in prayer.
COURAGEOUS LIVING
One that's survived cancer
And still sees a blessing,
One who lives with pain,
That's courageous living.
One who keeps faith,
When life knocks them down,
One who faces failures,
With a smile and no frown.
One who bears hardships
And says not, "why me?"
Courageous living,
That's what I see.
One who bears loss,
Without complaints or a grumble,
One who sees not their courage,
And is always humble.
One who sees good
In everyone they meet
And lends a helping hand
To everyone they greet!
