Welcome to my Garden!
This is another poem I wrote in ER Christmas night.
NEAR THE HEART OF GOD
Near the heart of God...
You will find peace.
Near the heart of God...
You will find release.
Near the heart of God...
You will find forgiveness of sin.
Near the heart of God...
You'll find courage to begin again.
Near the heart of God...
You will find hope.
Near the heart of God...
You will find the strength to cope.
Near the heart of God...
Love is in boundless measure.
Near the heart of God...
Is life's greatest treasure!

Freda's Garden Of Poetry:
Welcome to my Garden
I wrote this in ER last night... much needed words! I felt like David of old.
When he was in the depths of despair... he wrote poetry and so do I
GOD IS MY STRENGTH AND SHIELD
God is my strength and shield...
He comforts me when I'm afraid.
God is my strength and shield...
My very help and aid.
God is my strength and shield...
In times of pain and grief.
God is my strength and shield...
His love will never cease.
God is my strength and shield...
When the world closes in.
God is my strength and shield...
When I need to begin again.
God is my strength and shield...
In times of stress or sorrow.
God is my strength and shield...
For my every tomorrow!

Freda's Garden:
Welcome to my Garden!
Me... in the kitchen making preparations for a Christmas meal
As much as I enjoy cooking and baking, sometimes it can be a "distraction,"
of the real reason for the season!
DISTRACTIONS
Distractions...
There are so many in our walk today.
Distractions...
Pressings you to their will and way.
Distractions....
Some are bad... some are good
Distractions...
Some will lead us where they never should.
Distractions...
One of Satan's best tools.
Distractions...
Are temptations of fools.
Distractions...
Please do not favor.
Distractions...
That turn us from the birth of our Savior.

Freda's Garden:
Welcome to my Garden!
Two men dressed in white said, "Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing into
the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come
back in the same way you have seem him go into heaven." Acts 1:10-11
WAITING FOR GOD:
Waiting for God...
Is not easy, you see,
We want our answers
To come immediately.
Waiting for God...
To direct our day,
Some, just give up
And go their own way.
Waiting for God...
To do His will
May in the waiting,
We say, "peace be still."
Waiting for God...
To take my trembling hand
And lead me gently,
To the promise Land!
