Freda's Garden:

Welcome to my Garden.
"God will wipe away every tear from their eyes"
Revelation 7:17
And I hope you will see this as a comfort, not a downer!
I prayed before I posted this, that it would bring comfort to those while in isolation
and are faced with a loss of a loved one. I did not write this because I am despondent,
or plan to leave this world anyways soon.
Remember outward things like bedside goodbyes or memorial services, are not necessary
for those who leave us, but sweet memories can never be taken from you.

IF WE DON'T MEET AGAIN.

If we don't meet again
Don't sorrow and  don't cry
Just be prepared
To meet me in the sweet by and by.

If we don't meet again
In this world so filled with pain
Just keep in mind
Heaven is my gain.

If we don't meet again
And no one can bid me adieu
It is alright...
God will comfort you.

If we don't meet again
The best of me will never part
Just so long as you keep
Sweet memories in your heart!

Freda's Garden:

Welcome to my Garden:
Today's poem was taken from "Beside The Still Waters"
"In the Beginning was the Word and the Word was with God  and
the Word was God. He (Jesus) was with God. John 1:1

POWER OF THE WORD

Power of the Word
Is not the paper and ink, you see
It is God's message
To you and to me.

Power of the Word
The stories retold
Of God's people through the ages
It will never grow old.

The power of the Word
Ii's inspired by God
And it is a compass and guide
For the path that we trod.

Power of the Word
Means comfort and peace
And is filled His promise
That our troubles will cease!

Freda's Garden:

Welcome to my Garden:
Niagara Falls never runs day, neither do God's Resources.
Today's poem was taken from today's "Jesus Calling"

GOD'S RESOURCES

God's resources
Are always there,
Even when the stores
Have shelves that are bare.

God's resources
Have infinite ways,
To restore you
In the coming days.

God's resources
Have blessings to impart
When you are willing
To open your heart.

God's resources
Will never run dry,
So just trust in Him
With no worry or sigh!

Freda's Garden:

Welcome to my Garden.
This is the Garden of Gethsemane.
Jesus said, "Could you men not keep watch with me for one hour?

LONELIINESS

Loneliness...
At a time like this,
It is very wide spread
And fear surely exists.

Loneliness...
When you can't give a hug,
You miss human touch
And your heart-strings tug.

Loneliness...
So what do you do?
You pray for others
Who are lonely too.

Loneliness...
In the garden, Jesus was lonely too!
He knows all about it,
And He will comfort me and you!

Freda's Garden:

Welcome to my Garden.

THE FACE IN THE MIRROR

The face in the mirror
That I see each day
Has lines and wrinkles
That will not go away.

The face in the mirror
Has seen a lot of life
Some pain and some sorrow
Some fears and some strife.

The face in the mirror
And all that I see
Is just a reflection
Of who is really me.

The face in the mirror
With make-up, can be improved
But only in Jesus
Can my real heart be moved.

Welcome to may Garden.
Today;s poem was taken from (Beside The Still Water)

A WILLING HEART

A willing heart
Is what God wants, you see.
A willing heart
From you and from me.

A willing heart
Hands , folded in prayer.
A willing heart
That will show that we care.

A willing heart
With a peaceful mind.
A willing heart
That's patient and kind.

A willing heart
That will stand and fight.
A willing heart
For the fields are so white!

Freda's Garden:

Welcome to my Garden.
Today's poem was taken form (Our Daily Bread)

"Do not fear, for I have redeemed you, I have summoned you by
name; you are mine."  Isaiah 43:1

HE KNOWS YOUR NAME

He knows your name
It is written on His  nail scarred hand.
He knows your name
He will always understand.

He knows your name
He's counted the hairs on your head.
He knows your name
And the things you fear and dread.

He knows your name
Even in the womb, He saw thee
He knows your name
And your Friend He'll always be.

He knows your name
And He even died for thee.
He knows your name
He wants it in the Book of Life, you see!

Welcome to my Garden.

WORRY FREE

Worry free...
We can certainly be
If like a child, we trust
 In Jesus, you see.

Worry free...
His shoulders are wide
And He always will
Walk by our side.

Worry free...
Our burdens, He'll bear
If we, but release them,
into His care.

Worry free...
Go to Him in prayer today
He is never to busy
To hear what we say!

Welcome to my Garden:

HOPE IN A HOPELESS WORLD

Hope in a hopeless world
That will try an take you down.
They see the glass half empty
And hopelessness does abound.

Hope in a hopeless world
Hopelessness is a one way street
People without Jesus,
Their souls are incomplete.

Hope in a hopeless world.
People are like sheep
Seeking balm for their hurting hearts
So in pleasure they retreat.

Hope in a hopeless world
Is something we all need.
Where do you find this hope
In Jesus Christ indeed!

"Do not be discouraged, for he Lord  your God will be with you wherever you go."
Joshua 1::9

 I CAN RELAX

I can relax
God's got this, you see
I can relax
He watches over me.

I can relax
My troubles will fly away.
I can relax
For He's with me today.

I can relax
Whatever circumstances I'm in.
I can relax
Today, I can begin again.

I can relax
And give God my fear.
I can relax
For I know He's ever near.

Freda's Garden:

Welcome to my Garden.
Just like a father, God knows our needs before we ask, but just like a father,
He wants us to ask.

GOD KNOWS ALL ABOUT IT

God knows all about it
Your sorrow and despair.
God know all about it
He really does care.

God knows all about it
When you have fear.
God knows all about it
He says, "I am here."

God knows all about it
When others fail you.
God knows all about it
He'll always be true.

God knows all about it
When you bow to pray.
God knows all about it
But tell Him anyway!

Freda's Garden:

Welcome to my Garden.
Because we are hunan and weak, we all fail someone now and then.

WHEN OTHER'S FAIL US

When other's fail us
Perhaps we've failed too,
So we must  be forgiving
In all we say and do.

When other's fail us
Remember, the flesh is weak
And often people lack courage
That they may seek.

When other's fail us
They too have burdens they bear
We need to show compassion
That we really do care.

When other's fail us
We need to remember, you see
Jesus will not fail us
He died for you and me!

LET PEACE LIKE A RIVER

Let peace like a river
Flow through me.
Let peace like a river
Set me free.

Let peace like a river
Flood my soul.
Let peace like a river
Keep my heart from being cold.

Let peace like a river
Still my worried mind.
Let peace like a river
Keep me kind.

Let peace like a river
Be wherever I may roam.
Let peace like a river
Call me home!

A VIEW BEYOND THE VISIBLE

A view beyond the visible
Is what God wants for you and me.
A view beyond the visible
It is by faith  we see.

A view beyond the visible
Beyond the things we see and touch.
A view beyond the visible
Is what we need so much.

A view beyond the visible
Of this life's pain and sorrow.
A view beyond the visible
Will help us face tomorrow.

A view beyond the visible
As we view the stars at night
A view beyond the visible
Heaven's there, it will be alright!

Welcome to my Garden.
Today'a poem was taken from today's (Our Daily Bread)

WE ARE GOD'S TEMPLE

We are God's temple
He dwells within our heart
We need to keep the temple clean
Right from the start.

We are God's temple
Not a building made of stone
It was not for a pile of lumber
That God made us His own.

We are God's temple
And He made it very clear
We need to keep the temple holy
For He holds it very dear.

We are God's temple
It's not a Sunday pew
It is the way we live each day
And the things we say and do!

SMILE, GOD LOVES YOU

Smile, God loves you
With a love that is true.
Smile, God loves you
All your whole life through.

Smile, God loves you
Even when you're mad.
Smile, God loves you
He does't want you to be sad.

Smile, God loves you
Even when bad choices you make.
Smile, God loves you
He forgives you, each mistake.

Smile, God loves you
Just like a father loves his child.
Smile God loves you
And that's reason enough to smile!

Today's poem was taken from (In Touch)

A LIVING HOPE

A living hope
Is trusting God you see
That He will deliver us
From all misery.

A living hope
From despair
Is knowing that God
Really does care .

A living hope
Is confidence you see
That when we pray
God hears our plea.

A living hope
Is faith, not sight
And believing that God
Will make all things right!

Freda's Garden:

Welcome to my Garden:
Today's poem was taken from today's (Our Daily Bread)
War disrupted many young men and women's plans, permanently!

DISRUPTED PLANS

Disrupted plans
Happens every day
We sometimes make plans
That gets in God's way.

Disrupted plans
Throws us in a spin
We don't always like changes
We like things as they've been.

Disrupted plans
Storms will come to me and you
God does not always stop the storms,
But He will always see us through.

Disrupted plans
Remember God's is in control
If we really trust Him
He will bring peace to our soul!

GOD IS ALWAYS FAITHFUL

God is always faithful
His promises are sure.
God is always faithful
To give us strength to endure.

Gos is always faithful
To answer our prayers.
God is always faithful
In Hiis timing, not ours.

God is always faithful
No matter what we have done
God is always faithful
To forget our sins,  everyone.

God is always faithful
To those who believe.
God is always faithful
To carry us home, when we leave!

REDEEMED

Redeemed...
By our Savior in love.
Redeemed...
To receive blessings from above.

Redeemed...
From a life full of sin.
Redeemed...
To begin life over again.

Redeemed...
Means we've been set free
Redeemed...
Means Jesus loves you and me.

Redeemed...
We've been bought at a great cost
Redeemed...
By your Lord on the cross!

Freda's Garden:

Welcome to my Garden.
I dressed this little bear for a foster child and made the quilt
behind it  and the hat. my, "goal and purpose," for  dressing dolls
and bears, was to give the child a feeling that someone cares.
Today' poem was taken from today's (Our Daily Bread)

A GOAL AND A PURPOSE

A goal and a purpose
Is not getting even, you see,
It is being kind to others
As you would have them be to thee.

A goal and a purpose
Lean on God for strength each day
And the way that we do that
Is to take the time to pray.

A goal and a purpose
Isn't a pointed finger, but giving a hand.
To the who have fallen
As you walk through this land.

A goal and a purpose
To finish the task,
Feed on His Word
And do what He asks!
