THE FACE IN THE MIRROR
The face in the mirror
That I see each day
Has lines and wrinkles
That will not go away.
The face in the mirror
Has seen a lot of life
Some pain and some sorrow
Some fears and some strife.
The face in the mirror
And all that I see
Is just a reflection
Of who is really me.
The face in the mirror
With make-up, can be improved
But only in Jesus
Can my real heart be moved.
