I've chosen for thee.

I want your trust
In My plans for thee.

Relax, just follow Me
I'm in control
Of this day, you see.

I see all your sorrow
I hold your hopes and dreams
For a better tomorrow!

Learn to laugh
Find happiness along the way.
I am God with you.
So find joy today.

At yourself and your mistake.
I will walk with you
On the road that you take.

Lay your burdens at my feet.
Joy and laughter
Will make your life complete.

Take my yoke and learn from Me.
My burden is light

as I remember praying as Jim went home to be with the Lord. this day last year...
and God's peace fell upon me and it has not left this house!

This day last year a hospice worker said of Jim, "You know he is going to die!"
I answered,
"No! He's just beginning to live"...so thinking of that statement I wrote this
poem this morning..

YOU MUST DIE TO LIVE

You must die to live
This world is not your home
You must die to live
When here you will no longer roam.

You must die to live
Just as you plant a seed.
You must die to live
This body you'll no longer need

You must die to live
In a home far away.
You must die to live
You're not here to stay.

You must die to live
In heaven one day.
You must die to live
Where Jesus wipes all tears away!
