I dressed this little bear for a foster child and made the quilt
behind it and the hat. my, "goal and purpose," for dressing dolls
and bears, was to give the child a feeling that someone cares.

A GOAL AND A PURPOSE
A goal and a purpose
Is not getting even, you see,
It is being kind to others
As you would have them be to thee.
A goal and a purpose
Lean on God for strength each day
And the way that we do that
Is to take the time to pray.
A goal and a purpose
Isn't a pointed finger, but giving a hand.
To the who have fallen
As you walk through this land.
A goal and a purpose
To finish the task,
Feed on His Word
And do what He asks!
