Live each day as it comes
And don't leave Jesus out.

Remember Christ died for you
He offers you forgiveness

The valley of defeat
Comes to each of us one day.
We find a detour in life's road
And feel we've lost our way.

Perhaps we pursue the wrong thing?
God may want us on a different path
So blessings He may bring.

Circumstances are out of our control.
Stop, bow your head and pray
God's hand is there to hold.

Is Jesus' job, you see

He spreads His oil of mercy
On His flock of sheep.
