Paid for us, by Jesus, you see.
He shed His blood
And set us free.

It was nailed to the cross
His love kept Him there
For a whole world that's lost.

Baptized into His death to be
A new creation in Christ
And His Sprit dwells with thee.

It's burden lifted from your soul
But you must believe it is true
Good news is never old.

WAIT FOR THE LORD

Wait for the Lord
Is not easy to do
If your in God's waiting room
He'll see you through.

Wait for the Lord
Be patient, you see,
When you want to know
What the answer will be.

Wait for the Lord
Let Him lead the way
In these troubled times
Trust Him today.

His promises are true

A teachable spirit
You need today
You need to let Me
Guide your will and way.

A teachable spirit
To discern truth from a lie
And you can  teach others
On Me please rely.

A teachable spirit
That I can fill with love
To give to to the restless
Where all's push and shove.

A teachable spirit
That will answer the call
And go tell the world
That I died for all!

welcome to my Garden:
Today is D Day, not much said about it! Many
are too young to remember it. But we are free today  largely
because of that DAY, where 4, 000 men lost their lives and many
more were missing. 50 years later, men who survived that invasion, cried
when they recalled the loss of their brother's in arms. I am reading through
the OT, and we are like the Israelites, we forget so easy!

D DAY

D Day
"D" stands for day four thousand lost their lives
So many were  just kids
That were hoping to survive.

D Day
They stormed the very gates of hell
Knowing full well
Some would surely die
But on this they could not dwell.

D Day
An important day, you see
Almost forgotten
No appreciation that we're free.

D Day
I have seen old men cry
Who were there that day
And saw their comrades die.


D Day
You and live free
Mostly, because of this day,
Let us keep it in memory!

These are some of my thoughts about what is going on in our country today.
When a tragedy happens it seems much easier for some to react
with... hate-lies-fear-and violence, playing right into the hands of the evil one.

HATE-LIES-FEAR-VIOLENCE

HATE
Is so much easier to spread, you see.
LOVE
Requires a sacrifice from you and me.

LIES
Are easier to believe
TRUTH
Is harder to achieve!

FEAR
Comes so easy to our hearts.
PEACE
Will come only when fear departs.

VIOLENCE
Is  ungodly acts
UNDRESTANDING
Comes only when we have the facts.

UNITY
Comes when we can differ in love.
TOGETHER
We can conquer the above!

A time like this
There is negative news
Ans a lot of people are fighting
And have opposite views.

And the troubles we face
We need to stand together
And seek God's grace.

A time like this
We need to increase our prayer
We need to believe
That God really does care.

Patience is what we need
For God sees it all
And our prayers, He will heed!
