When God says, "no,"
Pray for a listening ear.
When God says, "no,"
Pray to endure.

When God says, "no,"
All is not lost.
When God says, "no,"
 Remember the cross.

When God says, "no,"
Pray not to grumble and cry.
When God says, "no,"
 Try and not ask, "Why?'

When God says, "no,"
Follow His son
And make your words be...
"Thy will be done!"
