HOPE IS LIKE A CORD
Hope is like a cord
That ties us to our Savior.
Hope is like a cord,
That controls our behavior.
Hope is like a cord.
That holds us fast and firm.
Hope is like a cord,
That leaves us free to learn.
Hope is like a cord,
Others see it shine.
Hope is like a cord,
God whispers, "you are mine."
Hope is like a cord,
If cut, the soul is dead.
Hope is like a cord,
God's Word the golden thread.
