You will find peace.

You will find release.

You will find forgiveness of sin.
Near the heart of God...
You'll find courage to begin again.

Near the heart of God...
You will find hope.
Near the heart of God...
You will find the strength to cope.

Near the heart of God...
Love is in boundless measure.
Near the heart of God...
Is life's greatest treasure!

His love will never cease.

When the world closes in.

Distractions...
There are so many in our walk today.

Pressings you to their will and way.

Distractions....
Some are bad... some are good
Distractions...
Some will lead us where they never should.

Distractions...
One of Satan's best tools.
Distractions...
Are temptations of fools.

Distractions...
Please do not favor.
Distractions...
That turn us from the birth of our Savior.

WAITING FOR GOD:
Waiting for God...
Is not easy, you see,
We want our answers
To come immediately.

Waiting for God...
To direct our day,
Some, just give up
And go their own way.

Waiting for God...
To do His will
May in the waiting,
We say, "peace be still."

To take my trembling hand
And lead me gently,
To the promise Land!

Remember: when you should not forget
To offer a prayer each day,
For the soldiers, fighting for our freedom,
Who are constantly in harm's way.

Remember: when you should not forget
Family and friends you love,
To ask God to guide them
From His home up above.

Remember: when you should not forget,
You have a home so sweet,
Remember there are those that are homeless
And shelter upon the street!

To thank God for the USA...
And all the blessings that are ours,
That He sends to us each day!

at  church... God gave me  "A New Heart," when I was 14 and baptized into Christ!

A NEW HEART
When they transplant a new heart,
So someone can live,
Someone died...
A sacrifice to give.

So it is with our Christian faith,
We learn right from the start
Someone was sacrificed...
To give us a new heart.

Jesus Christ, our Lord
Went to the cross,
His life to give...
Not counting the cost.

He came to die,
So that we could live
A new heart for you...
He will freely give!

This is a California condor over the Grand Canyon. He has a wing span of
over five feet.
"But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with
healing in its wings.  Malachi 4:2

LIFE ON WINGS
Our souls were made to soar
As the wings of eagles, to some heavenly flight.
The life hid in Jesus,
Is encircled by His glorious light.

As eagles soar,
Through the clouds to heights unknown,
Our soul shall be free,
To flee to God's very throne.

Then the things that come our way,
That seem so hard to bear,
Can be our life on wings,
When taken to the Lord in prayer.

If we take everything to Him,
Every fret, every care,
Then we must trust Him,
And be sure to leave them there.

For how can we free our souls,
To take this Spiritual flight,
If our wings are tethered
To worry doubt and fright?

Our will, we must surrender,
And His will be done in all things;
Then our souls shall have the freedom,
For this beautiful, life on wings!

A PROMISE FROM GOD
As long as the earth endures ,
Even through sands of time,
No more earth, destroying floods;
A promise to all mankind.

Seed time and harvest
Will march to nature's tune.
Day will follow night
Springtime winter's gloom.

The most visible promise
Is the rainbow that will appear,
After a storm has past,
It tells us God is near.

And it gives us hope for each day
As we endure pain and sorrow;
And we know that God will be there
When we reach tomorrow!

I meet God in the morning
While the day is still new,
Because I need to know
What He would have me do.

I meet Good at noontime,
While the day is still bright,
For I need His guidance,
Before it becomes night.

I meet God in the evening
When the day is at end,
To thank Him for walking with me
And being my friend.

I meet God in the night,
When sleep seems far away,
But I can be at peace,
For He will be there when it's day!

John 15:13
This is a memorial in Melbourne, Australia. on the 11 month 11 day and the 11 hour
the sun shines directly on these words... you do not have to ask "what would Jesus do?"
In this.. we know.  He laid down his life for us!

WHAT WOULD JESUS DO?
When there is a moral judgment
I need to review,
I need to ask this question,
What would Jesus do?

If I have a problem
And the solution is not in view,
I need to pray for discernment.
What would Jesus do?

If I'm caught in a dilemma,
Whether things are right and true,
I need to stop a moment
What would Jesus do?

My life would have more commitment,
If I would just think things through
And stop and ask this question,
What would Jesus do?

Tomorrow, in a memorial service, we say goodbye to a dear brother in Christ,
Fran Dow, and while his family and friends will miss him so much, we have the
the reassurance that he has achieved "victory over death"

VICTORY OVER DEATH
Victory over death...
Is found in the Lord alone.

Jesus did our sins atone.

Was wrought upon the cross.
Victory over death...
When they thought all was lost.

Victory over death...
Satan can't sabotage God's plan.

For every woman, every man.

Yesterday I posted a picture I painted of my grandparents house, where I was born.
This is a picture of my grandparents, standing in front of the house.
Today would have been my grandpa's birthday. When I think of "Endurance,"
I think of these two. They lost five children, Two daughters with in two weeks of
each other, during the influenza epidemic, after WW1

ENDURANCE...
Is hard to understand.
Endurance...
Is from God, a command.

Endurance...
Is not so easy to take.
Endurance...
Will build up your faith.

Endurance...
Will form patience in thee.
Endurance...
Is faithfulness, you see.

Endurance...
Will be its own reward.
Endurance...
Is possible, with the help of the Lord!
