Would you recognize Jesus
If you met Him today?
Would you really know him
If you met on the way?
Would you recognize Jesus
In the faces that pass you by?
Would you see Him in the homeless,
And recognize His cry?
Would you recognize Jesus
In the slums of every town?
Would you see Him in the faces
Of those whose spirits are down?
Would you recognize Jesus
In the weak and the lost?
Would you recognize Jesus
At the foot of the cross?
