My Mother on a long ago Mother's Day!
Today's poem was written several years ago:
MOTHERS ARE PARTNERS WITH GOD
Mothers are partners with God,
His arms to hold you tight.
His voice to sing softly,
His lips to kiss goodnight.
His tears to share your sorrow,
His hands to dry your tears.
His feet to walk beside you,
Through the growing years.
His back to labor always,
For the things you need,
Between God and mothers,
Is an unspoken creed....
Of patience and forgiveness,
Sacrifice and love...
Yes, mothers are willing partners,
With our God above!
