This is Jim holding his bible. He used to read it through every year,
when he could see to read. This book will tell us where to find
our certainty.
FINDING CERTAINTY IN AN UNCERTAIN TIME
Finding certainty in an uncertain time
Some would say is impossible to find.
We live with the threat of war, not peace,
And fears we never do release.
We look to our Government for care
Often disappointed it's not there.
We strive to make a dollar or two,
Uncle Sam says, "One for me and one and one for you!"
We strive and search and look around,
Trying to find some common ground.
But we look to the world in vain,
When we look to politics and fame.
Tis Jesus Christ we must seek
And His commands, we must keep.
Our certainty is in Christ alone,
For He died, our sins to atone.
