This little light of mine
Does not shine so bright.
This little light of mine
Can be seen on a very dark night.

This little light of mine
Won't light the world, I assume.
This little light of mine
Will light a very small room

This little light of mine
I pray a loved one it will be.
This little light of mine
Is lit by God, you see.

This little light of mine
Will flicker now and then.
This little light of mine
On God does depend.
