PEOPLE NEED THE LORD
People need the Lord
We're not meant to be self-sufficient, you see.
People need the Lord
And this will always be.
People need the Lord
When we're hurried and distressed.
People need the Lord
In Him we will find rest.
People need the Lord
Not things, power or fame.
People need the Lord
And the peace that He will bring.
People need the Lord
When our defenses are nil.
People need the Lord
He will our deepest longings fulfill.
