Today's poem was taken from today's "Every Day In His Presence."
GOD GAVE US A CHOICE
God gave us a choice
He gave us free will
When we make mistakes
He loves us still.
God gave us a choice
For a life filled with peace
If we choose Him
Our doubts and fears will cease.
God gave us a choice
Of how we use today
We can waste it on self-pity
Or follow His will and way.
God gave us a choice
To bow our heads and pray
When pain and trouble comes
We need to make Him our stay.
God gave us a choice
To trust Him, you see
But if we do not
He cannot bless you and me!
