Freda's Garden:

Welcome to my Garden!
This is my Grandpa and Grandma Johnson.
Today would have been his birthday. He was
the gentlest man I ever knew.

I REMEMBER GRANDPA
I remember grandpa,
A sprightly, sparse  man,
With lovely manners
And an infectious grin.

I remember grandpa,
As patient as can be;
He always took the time
For his grandkids, you see.

I remember grandpa,
With his Bible on his knee,
Reading by the fireplace,
In peaceful reverie.

I remember grandpa,
Who met trouble with a smile,
Practiced love thy neighbor,
Going that extra mile.

I remember grandpa,
An honest, upright man,
Who worked hard to make a living,
As he tilled the land.
