Me... "long ago and far away"
Today is my 81st birthday and today's poem is
my philosophy for life.
LIVE YOUNG, EVEN WHEN YOU'RE OLD
Live young, even when you're old,
Learn something new each day.
Be interested and flexible,
Not set in your way.
Live young, even when you're old,
Keep a dream or two,
And keep your imagination alive,
You'll be happy if you do.
Live young, even when you're old,
Age is just a number,
Read a book or take a walk,
Don't spend the day in slumber.
Live young, even when you're old
Try a song and dance,
Remember that the world is filled,
With adventure and romance!
