When I was director of Children's ED, at church, I played
sunshine once a month . The kids earned points all month
and could pick something from the gift cart.
WE SEE THINGS, NOT AS THEY ARE, BUT AS WE ARE
We see things...
Not as they be,
We only fool ourselves,
For it is as we see.
We see things...
How we want them to be,
As we try and make life,
Fun and carefree.
We see things...
Different, each one has a say,
It is as we are,
Our tales we relay.
We see things...
As we want them to be
And it is oft-times,
That we overlook reality.
