Hidden in my heart
Where no one can see.
Are scars from the past
Known only to me.

Are some shattered dreams,
Unfulfilled plans
And some painful scenes.

Are burdens that I bear
Hidden from a world,
That doesn't seem to care.

Are trenches made for love
And a pocket full of gratefulness,
