WALKING THE PATH

Walking the path
God's chosen for me
Has not always been
My cup of tea.

Walking the path
Of loneliness and fear
Wanting my family
To always be near.

Walking the path
Carrying my cross
And bearing my own
Burden and loss.

Walking the path
There's balance, you see
There's also love and joy
God's chosen for me.
