Freda's Garden:

Welcome to my Garden!
It's been said, "Worry is like a rocking chair; it gives
you something to do, but gets you nowhere!"

WORRY WILL EMPTY TODAY
Worry will empty today
And tomorrow, no promise it holds;
We're filled with dire visions,
As our day unfolds.

Worry will empty today
Of our tranquil peace;
It offers nothing to sooth us
And our fears will not cease.

Worry will empty today,
We fail to see beauty or rest;
It creates tension within us
And robs us of physical zest.

Worry will empty today,
Of our faith and of our hope;
It hinders the wisdom we have,
To solve problems and cope.

Worry will empty today
And only create strife;
It can never solve anything
Or add one hour to life.

"Who of you by worrying can add one single
hour to his life?" Matthew 6:26
