WHEN LIFE SHOWS UP
When life shows up
And hits you in the face,
Just step back...
And seek a hiding place.
A place of peace and calm
A serene, safe retreat.
A place where you can go,
For your Savior to meet.
When life shows up,
Don't wring your hands and cry,
Just stand right up and say
"I know my Savior's nigh."
When life shows up
And drowns you with sorrow,
Reach out for God's hand
Look for a better day tomorrow.
When life shows up,
Don't let it ruin your day
Go to God in prayer,
Get on your knees and pray.
When life shows up
Don't be afraid...
If it's like a sour lemon,
Just make sweet, lemonade!
