Freda's Garden:

Welcome to my Garden!
DAY 2
In the temple court: All that's left of the temple court is the above columns
and the paved court area. Of course there is a mosque, where the temple stood.
The group picture is our tour group, all are from our church. (except our tour leader)
It was so nice to tour with our with church family. I'm standing in the back row,
second from the left, (wearing the rain hat)
After  His triumphal entry, into Jerusalem, Jesus angered the religious leaders by
throwing out the money changers.

THE MONEY CHANGERS
Jesus watched the crowd
From the temple court.
He watched the money changers,
As they sold the people short.

They bartered and they wrangled,
For the price they would received.
Jesus yelled, "This is a house of prayer,
You have made it a den of thieves!"

He overturned the tables,
Let the sheep and doves go free.
He drove out the money changers,
Saying, "This should never be!"

Jesus angered the religious leaders,
Who had set up this little plot;
They now, reinforced their efforts
And His very life, they sought.

Jesus had set His eyes toward the city
And He knew that very soon...
The people who had sought His favor,
Would be calling for His doom!
