COUNTRY ROADS
I love country roads...
That lead to...I don't know where?
But I always want to take the path,
Just to see what's there.
I love country roads...
With flowers blooming along the way
And sometime, I will take the time,
To follow one, one day.
I love country roads...
With a promise of surprise.
A pretty, shady lane,
That meets each sunrise.
I love country roads,
And I dream of far off places.
I wonder about the people I'll meet,
And hope it's friendly faces.
I love country roads...
And I hope God will prepare,
One for me to explore
When I reach heaven, so fair!
