GOD'S FINGERPRINTS
God's fingerprints are everywhere;
You see them in the opening of a flower,
You see them in a cloudless sky
Or a sudden shower.

You see God's fingerprints
On an old lined face,
Of one who has spent a life,
Growing in His grace.

You see God's fingerprints
On the face of a new-born child
And in the promise...
Of an angelic smile.

You see God's fingerprints
In an ocean's roar,
You know it was His fingerprints,
That set the boundaries of the shore.

Yes, you see God's fingerprints
Everywhere you look,
But you'll find them most of all,
On the pages of His Book!

When others are unkind.

When I suffer loss.

I know He's paid the cost.

When fear and doubt creep in.

My Savior and my friend!

BEFORE THE FLOWERS GROW

The heart must be prepared,
So wisdom give to me.

Help me to be kind
And just point the way,
Make my footsteps sure,

ENVYING THE BIRD
Envying the bird
That flies so free.
Envying the bird
That sings to Thee.

Envying the bird
Who has no home.
Envying the bird
That's so free to roam.

Envying the bird
That depends on Thy grace.
Envying the bird
Free from life's race.

Envying the bird
That has no worry or care.
Envying the bird
That has no burden to bear.

I may envy the bird
For all of these things,
But I'm glad to be human
For the Blessings God brings!

This is an Amish farmer, near Lancaster, PA. the season of
summer is a busy time in the life of a farmer and the season
of summer is a busy time in life as well. Small children, church
and school activities and often, both mom and dad work!

Seasons ups and downs,
The season of the young.
The season's ups and downs,
Untried, unwise and unsung.

The seasons ups and downs,
Young adults, experiencing life.
The seasons of ups and downs.
Some relationships bring strife.

The middle years, with children all around.
The seasons ups and downs,
Children bring both laughter and tears I've found.

Senior years bring both joy and sorrow.
