Roses from our garden, before we moved. I miss
my roses.
BEFORE THE FLOWERS GROW
Before the flowers grow,
Plants must have tender care,
Weeding and watering,
And soil you must prepare.
And so it is with a soul,
That I would bring to Thee.
The heart must be prepared,
So wisdom give to me.
Help me to be kind
And just point the way,
Make my footsteps sure,
If someone follows me today.
And when I've sown the seed,
Help me to know,
That I just have to water,
Tis You that makes it grow!
