THE WRAPPING
The wrapping may be old
And torn in a place or two,
It's color a bit faded
And the shine is not so new.
The wrapping may not look
As special anymore.
It may have a spot or two
And it may look so very poor.
The warping may be ruffled
But if you take the time to see
You'll find the Holy Spirit
Surely dwells in me.
The wrapping in just the surface
It's what you find inside
A heart cleansed by God
Where a treasure does abide!
