My shade in the summer,
When the heat is on the rise.
Jesus is...
My shelter in the storm,
My boat will not capsize.

Jesus is...
Is my shield in times of trouble,
When my strength is gone.
Jesus is....
My help in sorrow,
When I think I can't carry on.

Jesus is...
My Salvation,
For my sins He did atone.
Jesus is...
My defender,
When I stand alone.

Jesus is...
Is my treasure,
My Savior and my friend.
Jesus is...
My future,
When this life comes to an end.
