LORD, KEEP ME FOR THE SLIPPERY SLPOES
Lord, keep me from the slippery slopes
Of the excuses I make
Give me the strength
To give more than I take.
Lord, keep me from the slippery slopes
Of self-pity today
Help me to be thankful
For each blessing that comes my way.
Lord, keep me from the slippery slopes
Of judging others in what they do
Help me remember
That you died for them too.
Lord, keep me from the slippery slopes
Of thinking I'm always right
Please keep my words sweet
From morning till night!
