Today's poem fits today's (Thought for Today)... but today because I'm
reading through Job and think of his friends long speeches, I wrote the poem
first and found the thought to match.
TAKE THE TIME TO LISTEN
Take the time to listen
To that God has to say.
Take the time to listen
To what your friends convey.
Take the time to listen
Sometimes people just want a friend
Take the time to listen
Just your presence lend.
Take the time to listen
That is how we learn.
Take the time to listen
To your friends concern.
Take the time to listen
To God's heart, it is the key.
Take the time to listen
He knows your heart, you see!
