Freda's Garden

Welcome to my Garden:
This picture was taken in Washington, D.C. with
the Nation's Capitol in the background. I try
and match the picture with the poem. Now, how
does today's poem fit the picture??
Taken from Psalm 12

LORD HELP ME
Lord help me.
The faithful are no more.
Neighbor lies to neighbor,
Evil is at my door.

Lord, You can:
Stop flattering lips and tongues that boast.
You save the weak and needy,
Those who need You most.

Lord, You keep me safe,
Under your protection.
Refine me in your furnace,
For Your pleasure and perfection.
