This picture is our son, John. He was in the first grade. Today is
his birthday and the poem below was written by John, when he
was in the sixth grade. It was in our church bulletin February 2, 1975
A LITTLE THANK YOU
Dear Lord,
I thank you for your son,
And all that He has done;
I thank you for this earth,
And mothers that give birth.
I thank you for the sky,
And birds that fly so high.
I thank you for the trees,
And the beauty of the seas .
I thank you for all these things,
And my heart will always sing for your love.
